Podcast Guests
Our Audience
The Homeschool Counseling Network Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting homeschool families with professional coaching, counseling, and consulting resources and services.
Our target audience is homeschooling families of all kinds. A large portion of our audience is Christian homeschooling families.
Our Podcast
As with our blog posts and digital content, our podcast focuses on helping make counseling, education, mental health, and therapy information more accessible to the homeschooling community.
Each month we feature a professional guest of the month. Topics include everything from parenting, homeschooling help, learning differences, special needs, family issues, behavior problems, handling stress, managing emotions, and coping with grief to name a few. Teaching tips and therapy tools are also welcome. If your topic can inform, inspire, and improve the lives of homeschoolers, we want to talk about it!
Where/When to Listen. The Homeschool Counseling Network Podcast will air on the first Wednesday of every month on RSS.com and wherever you listen to your favorite podcast episodes. You can also listen right here on our website.
Be Our Guest. Interested in being a guest on our show? Here are some criteria that may make you a great fit:
- Background. You must have a professional background in one of the following: Mental Health (Professional Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Nursing, or Psychiatry), Education, or Therapy (Occupational, Speech-Language Pathology, or Physical).
- Give more than you take. While being a guest may cost you a bit of your time, appearing on a podcast can help promote your business or organization through free advertising. Our primary audience is homeschooling families and families of faith. Many of these families are single-income. If you are offering a course or a book, please consider offering our listeners a discount code for a limited time. Offer words of encouragement, teaching tips, personal growth stories, or hard-earned bits of wisdom.
- Share the love. If you participate as a guest, please promote the show on your website, YouTube channel, or social media.
