Finding experts with the knowledge and understanding necessary to support homeschooling families through their businesses can present a challenge. We are working hard at The Homeschool Counseling Network to help bridge this gap.

Sometimes we need a little help when home-educating our children. Thankfully, support is just a few keystrokes away. Here you will find home educational support options from self-paced virtual classes to live online learning to in-person learning classes.

The Homeschool Counseling Network is here to help you find the educational resources you need to support you on your family’s homeschooling journey. On this resource list, you will find a variety of services from educators who provide specialty classes, such as foreign language courses and various upper-level math classes to writing courses and even private 1:1 education services equipped to help you meet all of your alternative education needs.

One of the great joys of homeschooling is the ability to chase rabbit trails and pursue topics of interest in depth. Have a child who loves history but you not so much? Fill their hearts and heads with the knowledge they crave with an online course from a passionate and compassionate teacher.

The Homeschool Counseling Network Podcast

Homeschooling families are a village. You can ask us anything, we can make a lesson out of anything, and we are fiercely supportive of one another. While our approaches and methods for educating our children may differ, we share a common belief that ALL children deserve access to a quality education.

As a professional helper, I believe the same principles apply to families seeking support services for home-educating their children. Standing with one foot in the homeschooling community and one foot in the helping community, I saw a need in the world and decided to do something about it.

Thus, The Homeschool Counseling Network (HCN) was born.

The Homeschool Counseling Network (HCN) was created to fill a gap. By creating resource lists of homeschool family-friendly providers, we aim to help ease the burden of seeking support services.

Our sincerest wish is to offer comfort, encouragement, and support by connecting homeschooling families with providers who are equipped to help meet their counseling, education, and therapy needs.

Through providing FREE content and access to free and reduced-cost resources to help support families in their homeschooling journey, we endeavor to accomplish our mission of inspiring, informing, and improving lives.

As with our resource lists, you can expect professionals from all areas of education, mental health, professional coaching, and therapy.

Just like our blog posts and vlog posts, you will find a range of topics in academic advising, coaching, home education, counseling/mental health, testing, therapy, and tutoring. More importantly, we want to hear from the HCN audience on what topics are important to you and what questions you would like to ask professionals.
