FREE Mental Health Expert Panels! The Homeschool Counseling Network and The Homeschool Quest Partner To Support Homeschool Parents

Providing Counseling Resources for Your Homeschool, One Connection At A Time

At HCN, we understand the struggle homeschooling families face in connecting with compassionate, homeschool-family-friendly mental health service providers. Ideally, we envision a world where every homeschooling family can receive the compassionate, knowledgeable, and experienced mental health care they need to help them succeed.

The Homeschool Counseling Network is dedicated to bridging the gap between the homeschooling and mental health communities one connection at a time. Through: (1) our network of compassionate, knowledgeable, and experienced professionals who provide tailored guidance and care to homeschooling families, (2) our online community offering homeschoolers a safe place to connect, interact, and support one another, and (3) our counseling resources, we can empower homeschooling families to grow, thrive, and succeed.

Powerful Partnerships

The Homeschool Counseling Network is committed to mental health advocacy and awareness inherent to our mission to bridge the gap between the homeschooling and mental health communities.

As part of our commitment, we strive to partner with other homeschool organizations, both nonprofit and for-profit, professionals, and businesses whose goals align with our mission, vision, and values to help bring mental health resources, support, and services to the homeschooling community. One such partnership is between The Homeschool Counseling Network and The Homeschool Quest.

FREE Quarterly Mental Health Expert Panel Webinars

HCN is proud to partner with The Homeschool Quest to bring you FREE quarterly mental health expert panel webinars. Our first panel aired in October 2024.

In our first webinar, I was joined by author, public speaker, homeschool mom, former school psychologist, and consultant, Amy Bodkin, Ed.S., (Amy Bodkin Consulting) and homeschool mom, clinical psychologist, and ADHD expert, Sue Han, Ph.D. (Maple Psychological Services).

We discussed the benefits of early health screening, the screening process, why screening is important, what to expect, where to get screened, when to seek out screening, and who conducts the screenings. Finally, we also addressed some common questions and concerns associated with screenings.
